About Me

Hi there!

I am Jes, a co-founder of SnackFirst, which serves happiness in the form of tasty snacks with free delivery. My adventures on starting this business is all under #SnackFirst. I used to #Travel overseas for work frequently but this made me so tired of the corporate world #SimplySalesTalk. So I left my $100,000 job to start my business venture. I still love to plan my own travels and if possible, drive and explore on my own even in foreign countries #YOLO!

I recently got promoted to be a mummy blogger #FamilyTalk and will discuss about the financial considerations of a family. All the more I have to stretch my dollar and would do some #Finance comparisons on expenses like diapers, milk powder and Riders plan to get the best deal and came up with My ultimate guide for surviving parenthood.

As the quote goes, when one door closes, another opens. I was a speaker at Invest Fair 2017 and I welcome the challenge to try out new things. Read my interview if you wish to know more about me.

I am also very thankful to work with these partners:

    1. Hi Sam,

Thanks for reading through my blog. Actually, my aim is to encourage more people to travel free and easy and let them know how stress free it could be... It's still in progress though.

I have been wanting to join some websites to link to travel but found none in Asia so I think your site is really a good idea! I would be glad to share my travelling articles to your website so do drop me an email and let me know what I have to do.

Nice to meet you and have a good day! :)

  2. Hi Jes,

I am Zhaoyan, and I am from PolicyPal, an app that helps users manage their insurance policies all in one place.

I have read some of your blog posts, (especially Going in-depth on ILP vs term) and felt that you have a heart in helping fellow Singaporeans in learning more about personal finance and insurance.

It is this reason that I reached out to you. We in PolicyPal feel that our app will definitely help Singaporeans manage their insurance better. I would like you to try out our app, and let us know how you find it.

If you find our app good, it would be even better if you do a review and let your avid readers know about our app.

Thank you so much and I really hope you can try out our app and leave a review, thank you!

    1. Hi Zhaoyan,

Thanks for reaching out. I recommend reducing the number of policies and not require an app at all! Haha. Anyway, all the best to your business venture, I will go take a look.
